Welcome to Highland Hospitality where each of you are Royal to us. Enjoy a 3 course dinner in the Majestic Wallace Ballroom, which was host to many a historical event in the history of the Highlands over the last 150 years.
Whilst enjoying the dinner, savour the feeling of being transferred to a bygone era – where each chandelier has a story to tell.
After dinner, enjoy traditional Scottish entertainment provided by The Marlettes of “Scottish Showtime “ fame. This is Scotlands longest running show which has been thrilling and delighting audiences over the past 30 years, and a perfect blend of traditional song, dance and music.
Wednesday 31st December 2008
Full Scottish Breakfast will be served between 7am – 930am, an ideal start to your day leaving you free to explore the sights of Inverness and surrounding area.
We will be serving home baking and freshly brewed coffee and tea in the Gallery lounge between 230pm and 4pm, so relax and enjoy a leisurely break in our comfortable lounge area in traditional winged back chairs before retreating to your room to dress for the evening ahead.
At 6.30pm, our piper will play for you as you come down our imposing magnificent staircase, which is rumoured to have inspired the Grand staircase of “Titanic,” for some champagne cocktails and tasty canapés.
Make your way through to our ballroom for our Gourmet Hogmanay Dinner. Dance the night away with our traditional Scottish entertainment with ”Alive n Jiggin” and bring in the bells with the sound of our lone piper. In the wee small hours when everyone else is going to bed, finish your night with a warming cup of broth.
